SLALOM organized two live sessions to present the final versions of our legal terms and technical specifications for #Cloud #SLAs. The sessions provide examples showing how to practically apply SLALOM to improve current practice in the industry for # Cloud #SLAs and support development of cloud computing metrics.
The first webinar covered SLALOM Technical track "Using metrics to improve Cloud SLAs". The second covered the outcomes of SLALOM legal track, "Ready to Use Cloud Master Agreement for SLAs".
This webinar focuses on the output of the SLALOM legal track, outlining it's approach to technical specifications for SLAs, including examples of specific metrics, and showing how its outcomes can be adapted to support clarity and transparency in defining and delivering cloud SLAs. Whether you are a service user tasked with defining SLAs to specify requirements or a Service provider charged with delivering great customer support, SLALOM can provide practical guidance.
The legal team created a set of cloud computing terms and conditions covering all aspects of the relationship between a Provider and an Adopter of cloud computing services, and setting out the terms and conditions of the contractual relationship between both parties in relation to the provision of cloud services. The final deliverable is available for downloading: D2.1 final document. This document analyzes the provisions that are generally included in an agreement for cloud services setting out the possible different interests, positions and perspectives of the two parties involved, giving a proposal of what should be the main legal document covering #Cloud #SLAs, “The Cloud Service Agreement” (or CSA). Download the slides here.
The final document is intended to be practical and useful at European Level. We drafted the contractual provisions of the proposed SLALOM model CSA taking into consideration the main legislations and regulations applicable to the relevant provisions in Italy, Germany, the UK, France and Greece (excluding industry sector legislations that may be concerned)
